Two Easy Methods

How to Transfer Your PDF to Kindle

Kindle devices support PDF files natively. Choose whichever method works best for you, both take under 2 minutes.

Send to Kindle by Email

Every Kindle device has a unique email address. Simply email your PDF to that address and it will appear in your Kindle library automatically.

  • Go to your Kindle and find your Kindle email address in Settings, then Device Options, then Personalise Your Kindle.
  • On your computer, open your email and attach the PDF file you downloaded from LD Global.
  • Send it to your Kindle email address. The subject line and body can be left blank.
  • Your PDF will appear in your Kindle library within a few minutes.
  • Make sure your sending email is approved in your Amazon account under Manage Your Content and Devices.

Transfer via USB Cable

Connect your Kindle to your computer with a USB cable and copy the PDF directly into the documents folder. No internet required.

  • Connect your Kindle to your computer using the USB cable that came with it.
  • Your Kindle will appear as a drive or folder on your computer.
  • Open the Kindle drive and navigate to the documents folder inside it.
  • Copy and paste your PDF file from your downloads folder into the Kindle documents folder.
  • Safely eject your Kindle. Your PDF will appear in your library immediately.

Tip: PDF files on Kindle display exactly as formatted. For the best reading experience on smaller Kindle screens, use landscape mode or pinch to zoom on the text. On Kindle Paperwhite and newer models you can also adjust the text size within a PDF using the display settings menu.
